Fall & Winter 2014-15: Atom & Pee Wee:

Small Area Games let kids explore and learn
Soccer coaches have been using ‘small sided games’ in practice for decades. We need to move our game forward by encouraging coaches to use more small area games that increase puck touches, simulate game situations, celebrate the chaos of a real game, and make great use of a small portion of the ice. Using ‘Hockey Drills 2: Small Area Games’ to plan practice will force players out of their comfort zone, reduce decision making time, and increase the speed of execution.
This clinic was hugely successful in 2013-14 and is back by popular demand for the 2014-2015 season. We use our Hockey Drills 2: Small Area Games curriculum to guide us. We are pleased to offer age and maturation appropriate skill development in a FUN and encouraging atmosphere. We focus on individual skills using small area games and competition to keep kids engaged and having fun!
